One possibility is because we're using a free-tier for the youtube service it's very limited. Limited # of people who can share, limited number of uploads per day/week, so it has always been flaky.

I know that uploading is limited, but this happened from the moment the shutdown took place and onwards. If you look at the videos in the YouTube category on your page, no videos have been shared for 47 days, even before shutdown.
47 days is excessive for a limited video upload period (as far as I know)

Hi Anthrwpos,

We have fixed a bug related to YouTube authentication in our systems. I tested it in my development setup, where I am using a test key, and I was able to upload videos successfully.

However, when I deployed the fix to our live system, I still received the 'This app blocked' error. This might be due to the ongoing upload limitations of our application mentioned in previous comments.

When you have time, could you please check if the problem is still ongoing on your side, or if you are seeing a different error? I will keep an eye on the recently shared videos to see if any come through.

By the way, you can increase your daily upload limit if you verify your account at https://www.youtube.com/verify. The limit is normally 6 per day, but after verification, it increases to 50.
