Describe the bug

Windows seems to fail with this undefined error. And others.

Redownloading again after deleting folder, see if it keeps happening, could be just bugging out and corrupting the download at same time preventing resume.,

I think my issue is BG3 is not allowed to be downloaded via API

Ok, I was just using windows version of app. Normally I'd be using Linux.

Is this still an issue with Heroic 2.11.0?

This problem also occurred to me when I tried to install the Linux versions of "Dead Cells" and "Slay the Spire" from GOG. However, other games such as "Dicey Dungeons" and "HUNTDOWN" could be installed successfully. Heroic 2.13.0 was used, installed via Flatpak.

Same here, cannot install classic Quake (I'm on Arch, btw).

Same problem on Fedora when trying to install Dishonored from GOG. Another game, Hero's Hour, installed without issue. I tried different install paths for Dishonored, but that doesn't make a difference.

Same here on Bazzite using Heroic flatpak. Out of 6 games installed, only one has this error while installing, Project Wingman. Seems to not be related to the system as other games (wine or native) install and play as expected. Outward even uses cloud-saves correctly.
(Games not having this issue: Hellish Quart, Old World, Outward, Songs of Conquest. Only Songs of Conquest is linux native)

So, after updating from HGL 2.15.2 to 2.16.1, I was able to successfully install and play Dishonored.

After browsing the release notes of 2.16 and 2.1.6.1, I can't seem to find anything that specifically resolves the issue we are having, but there are a few mentions of fixes related to GOG.

1. GOG v1 Game Setup Fix: Resolved regressions affecting older GOG titles.
2. GOG Manifest Cleanup: Prevents install errors by deleting old manifests.

The latter may be related, but I'm not positive. Maybe a dev can chime in?

Can confirm that Project Wingman indeed installs fine now with 2.6.1.
