Is there a style guide for this data?

For example I was looking at the CUNY (City University of New York Entries.) and came up with the following list.

I note several things:

1. The abbreviation for CUNY shows up in different places in the organization names. In particular Hunter College is Hunter College CUNY where CUNY shows up at the end. And all of the other CUNY followed by the college name.
2. I notice that the State/provence collumn is listed in two different ways NY and New York, NY (Which is City and State/Provence

Hello @tom-aspireleaders thank you for raising this issue, it is a good point. We haven't planned any style guide but would gladly accept any PRs that adds one. I am also checking out the guide you added, thank you for that. Do you think we can add that with some small changes? One last thing, if you find more abnormalities like the ones you mentioned, could you also create an issue for them please?

I'm likely to build an ML and LLM data pipeline to go through and apply our style guide and other reviews criteria starting with your list and adding updates from a large dataset of our records. I'm expecting hundreds of changes and hundreds of new records. And rather than submitting these changes in a format that is not useful to you, I'm wondering if you might review our proposed style guide and let me know what you think.
