about.biography block not found

The error I am getting is

ERROR %!s(<nil>) uses a `about.biography` block but the `about.biography` block was not found at `layouts/partials/blocks/about.biography.html`

But layouts/partials/blocks/about.biography.html lives where it had in ./themes/github.com/HugoBlox/hugo-blox-builder/modules/blox-bootstrap/layouts/partials/blocks/about.biography.html as it always had.

I am using academic-cv with Hugo v0.151 extended.

I should note that - block: about.biography is the first section in my _index.md, so this might be a problem with all blocks. I have not tested that yet.

I should note that over time, I built up a mess of _vendor, git submodlues, and go.mod for handling themes and modules. The problem I am getting is a consequence of me trying, at a start, replace what I hade in _vendor with hugo modules.

Well, I manually copied layouts/partials/blocks/about.biography.html and layouts/_partials/blocks/about.biography.html to my own local layouts to resolve the problem, but I very much feel that that is not the right nor particularly maintainable solution.
