normal map visible tiles

Generated normal map has visible tiles. Is this normal, am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure if you're still having the issue, but I ran in to the same problem. It seams to be an issue of the resolution of the source image. I think the software can only handle 2k/72dpi images.
