For which schema is a change/update being suggested?

I would like to request an update to the cell_suspension.json schema.

What should the change/update be?

I would like to add a new field - institute - to this schema to allow data contributors to record the institute that processed the specific cell suspension.

This update constitutes a minor change to the schema(s) it affects.

What new field(s) need to be changed/added?

• Field name: institute
• Field description: Institute where the biomaterial was processed
• Field type: string
• Required: no
• Examples: "Wellcome Sanger Institute; University of Zurich; University of Pennsylvania"

Why is the change requested?

This is part of the Tier 1 metadata schema. We can record this in each process_core.location fields, however this does not allow easy accessibility of the metadata.
