Doesn't work at all with 3 different android pc os

I've tried using official Android-x86, Bliss OS v14.10.1, PrimeOS-2.1.3-64 bit. they all doesnt detect it

I followed the instructions (create folder "boot", putting the stock initrd.img to the folder, putting initrd-magisk.img as initrd.img in android-x86 folder, putting boot-magisk.img in boot folder) but after installing magisk apk, it doesnt detect magisk (Installed: N/A, Zygisk: NO)

I may be just tired and so i miss a step or it's really doesnt work. please help

what's funny is I just need the su binary for termux and what not.
cause if I enable root for the root checker app via kernelsu it reports it's rooted.

but when I try to do the same thing for termux and try to use 'su' it just complains that the su binary is missing and asks if I'm rooted XD.

I tested it on Android x86 9.0-r2, with closest to initrd-magisk release of magisk which is 6.3. It succesfully installs, logs this into console during boot

initrd-magisk Android x86 v1.20
Initialize system environment...
Detecting Android-x86... found at /dev/sda5
Architecture: x86 - 64bit: false
Android root directory is rootfs

But then after boot Magisk still says:

Installed: N/A
Zygisk: No
Ramdisk: Yes

So it's kinda installed, but not really doing anything.
