Gtk theme issue

i install rewaita gtk color app and use for try any template but gtk app not work with hyde theme and wallbash theme how to fix it

because rewaita is for adwaita base themes right? HyDE themes gtk3 and gtk4. also

I suggest Oomox/themix

Also rewaita looks like too gnome-ish. How to make it work in a separate compositor like hyprland?

Also looks like as promise it works for GTK for so what is the problem here? I tested this with nautilus as it is known to be GTK4 + adwaita base

rewaita also messes up with ~/.config/gtk-3.0/ by adding css in here which is not the correct way in dealing with gtk3

how to completely remove the rewaita theme so hyde theme will me support only

I bet it broke HyDE too? haha

first remove all the files in this directory EXCEPT for settings.ini

then remove rewaita in ~/.local/share/themes/

rm -fr ~/.local/share/themes/rewaita

then it probably writes your current theme as it will touch ~/.config/gtk-4.0 which is a symlink to your active gtk theme. so maybe check it, you can remove that gtk theme too in ~/.local/share/themes/ then repatch the theme using hydectl theme import

you should remove the affected theme

in my case I infected ~/.local/share/themes/Vanta-Black/ theme there I remove it then repatch vanta black
