We are planning to move toward OLM v1 in ODF/FDF version 5.1.0, which is the next release after 4.23. As part of this transition, ibm-storage-odf-operator and ibm-block-csi-operator will need to comply with OLM v1 requirements so it can continue to be deployed under the ODF/FDF umbrella.
Update the existing bundle to ensure OLM v1 compatibility. The required changes are expected to be minimal since the bundle format remains largely the same. Only a few adjustments in the bundle manifests should be needed to meet OLM v1 requirements.
OpenShift is moving toward OLM v1, and OLM v0 is expected to be deprecated in the near future. To avoid compatibility issues and ensure continued support, we need to make our operators OLM v1 compliant.
