Playback custom audio through a frequency

Feature:
I would love to have a way to add custom audio files to be playbacked by ACRE2 somehow. It is kind of hard to describe. But think about like a SAR mission. You kind of have the job to find the frequency the missing NPC pilots are broadcasting SOS messages.

So I would take i.e. a SEM 70 and browse the channels to get that playback. It will be transmitted the same way we players would receive radiomessages from other players (icon pops up right corner and the radio noise would actually be mapped over the playback audio!

I'd love to have this feature or API function because of an idea for a mission script.

That is a very interesting use case, I am now imagining civilian radios with stations playing on them and so on! 😆

Good thing you did, forgot to write it here. We wouldn't mind supporting this, but currently there are more important priorities to do. We would accept PRs!

This is old, but I will do some digging into this. I wanted to add stuff like repeater towers and jammers anyways and this would be a great stepping stone.
