BUG - HIT Dynamic Threshold State Beyond L0 #3367

Description

@gmitch3088

Description of the issue

In the recent solar energetic particle event, HIT entered a higher dynamic threshold state (switched between DT 0 and DT 1 a couple of times). This was reported correctly in the L0 housekeeping data (see time series plot), but is not correct in L1A, L1B, or L2. Those files report the dynamic threshold state as staying constant at 0. The translation from the L0 HK file to L1A, L1B, and L2 science files needs to be fixed.

Additionally, it appears the different geometry factor for higher dynamic threshold levels was not correctly applied. This is likely a symptom of the same issue.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Examine the L0 HIT Housekeeping data dynamic threshold state variable for 2026-07-30 to 2026-08-04. You will see periods of "0" values and "1" values. The corresponding L1A, L1B, and L2 files have the dynamic threshold state as 0 throughout.
