Overview of the Feature Request
Currently, the Dataverse collections are displayed in the order in which they were entered. Users can only view the collections by clicking through. However, most users do not do this, which is why the collections listed further behind the list are not highlighted. Featured Dataverses should be displayed in random order so that all collections have an equal chance of being seen.
What inspired the request?
A complaint from our User Advisory Board that the same Dataverse collections are always displayed at the start.
What existing behavior do you want changed?
Featured Dataverses should be displayed in random order so that all collections have an equal chance of being seen.
The random order should be activated via a button:
The random order also be activated via API.
