Refactor main

Refactoring:

• main() function is getting too long, and
• main.py could be split into several files

Hi @Iain-S , I'd like to work on refactoring issue. My strategy is to break down its functionality into separate modules like :

│   ├── stats.py       # Contains functions for measuring execution time, processing tables, etc.

This modular approach will make the codebase cleaner, easier to test, and more maintainable. Please assign me to this issue so I can start working on it. Thanks!

Hi @Itz-Agasta. Sounds good to me. If you're going to add a couple of extra files (io.py and stats.py), could you either

• split the test_main.py file into test_main.py, test_io.py and test_stats.py, or
• rename test_main.py into test_package.py and split class TestMain into TestMain, TestIO, TestStats etc.
