It appears that the freeze only happens with non standard dimensions. 1024x600 - Freezes Any idea why this would be? There was some weirdness with videoconvertscale plugin when building my yocto image for the browser.. maybe it's that? |

Hi all,
I'm trying to play a looping h264 video on raspberry pi 4B on Cog Browser, WpeWebkit, and GStreamer. Video playback uses the hardware decoder without any issues and playback is smooth.
I'm looping the video with the loop parameter in the
The video loops fine for ~10 mins and then "freezes". The browser doesn't freeze just the video. I'm able to navigate away and back to the video and it plays again normally. I also am able to manually trigger through the console a .load() on the video element and it restarts it normally. However a .play() does not work. Checking .pause reports "false".
Environment:
Raspberry Pi 4 B (BalenaOS 64 bit)
Gstreamer version: 1.26.0
WPEWebkit: 2.48.0
What I'm running is a rebuilt yocto image to include the newest Gstreamer and webkit (OE and Pi firmware are still on Langdale):

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out, any help appreciated!
