PQescapeStringConn should probably have the same treatment as PQescapeByteaConn, whatever is decided to be done.

Allegedly, the escaping of 'normal' strings is done okay through the standard PDO::quote function. Though I will defer to anyone who actually uses Postgres and thinks PQescapeStringConn is needed.
