On Linux Mint (laptop) works great, on Garuda (desktop) install issues

I installed kDrive without any difficulty on Windows 10 (desktop) and Linux Mint (laptop), as well as on Android (smartphone). All communicated very well.

I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Garuda Hyprland.

I went through
sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git
yay -S kdrive-bin
When I want to launch kdrive I get this error message

Maybe have also a look at #1015, for me it was a problem with Wayland on KDE and it got solved by logging in a temporary X11 session: #1015 (comment)

There is also a proposed fix without the need to use X11: #977 (comment) (not tested on my side)

Launching the AppImage with this command works as a workaround: QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb ./kDrive-3.7.2.20250703-amd64.appimage
