[Theme]: Organization Administration Tools #7

Description

@DanHugoDanHugo

Objective

An organization is composed of many things, including

  • contact information for owners and managers (or those with roles similar)
  • resources (websites, discussion forums, repositories, issue tracking tools, galleries, other online, not to mention offline physical manifestations in the real world)
  • members (formal and information)
  • groupings of members (eg teams)

Agile for Volunteers makes assumptions (as few as possible) about teams and links and other facets, so that simplifying initialization and maintenance of these, even validation and verification where possible, can make initial and continued use of the Agile for Volunteers methodology (more) attractive to the world at large.

Key Results

  • Tools to configure and re-configure an organization on a platform such as GitHub, GitLab, etc with expects teams and settings appropriate for the platform and the organization in question
  • Tools to summarize and report on organization configuration and feature implementation
  • Tools to construct visualizations and reports of the various members, teams, initiatives, component projects, and any other elements such that the relationships between this can be (more) easily observed and comprehended
