Objective

The Agile for Volunteers Initiative is an administrative bundling of one or more Component Projects into a functional entity that addresses some need, gap, or more generally, goal, which might be deployed, put into service, or otherwise published for use.

From an implementation perspective, the Initiative may be viewed as

• An appropriately-named Component Project repository (yes, a component project of and about itself)
• Minimalist yet informative
• The public entry point for anyone (including automation) seeking information about Component Project issues, progress, etc and the same for the Initiative on the whole
• Visible (always public, even if other Component Projects are private, unless the initiative itself is intended to be confidential)

Key Results

• Initialize or re-initialize an Initiative Component Project repository
• Report on the Initiative repository (settings, status, etc), either stand-alone or as part of an aggregation of multiple initiatives
• Report on all Component Projects associated with an initiative
• Provide data for publication for ie an html presentation of an initiative for integration in a website or similar
