Shader initializes incorrectly, only in multiplayer #2889

What happened?

About 30% of the time joining a server, I get the attached screenshot for a result. That was using Bliss shader, but a similar issue occurs on MakeUp-UltraFast... what both issues have in common is that the sky fails to load in one manner or another. Since it's multiple shaders and just on multiplayer I wonder if the issue is in Iris. Singleplayer always works.

The server in question is one I set up myself with no notable mods besides Distant Horizons.

F3+R to reload shaders fixes it every time, and I can reload dozens of times and it doesn't break, so the scope of the issue is only when joining a server, not just the fact of being inside of a server. I would settle for some kind of mod solution that automatically reloads shaders after they initialize the first time, but I couldn't find any such mod.
