TableDependency stopped working when debugging

I get the following error "TableDependency stopped working" and "The conversation handle "776ECDA7-EB9D-F011-99F2-005056AD84BB" is not found. Invalid object name 'dbo.dbo_Users_813f6dbc-f113-4a16-8f16-b957ac2d2a3d_Receiver'." when debugging a staging web application, whilst others are trying to read/write data at the same time I pause code.

I believe there is a watchDogTimeOut in a later version, sadly I am limited to .NET Framework 4.8 for this particular project.

Could you please recommend a work around, other than debugging against a staging database.
