Are there any Rust features worth to import to Adept?

For the sake of completeness, as I have created #41 and #42, I think I should create this thread, too.

Yes many features that Rust has are planned, including:

• Sum Types
• Pattern matching
• Borrow checking
• Exhaustive switching/matching
• Move semantics

As well as some Rust-inspired features that are being experimented with, like:

• Traits and Trait Implementations
  • Currently, you can have multiple implementations of a trait per type, which is not allowed in Rust
  • You can also have traits that aren't over a type at all, which is not possible in Rust
