Is there anything for me to try in Q1 2026?

Not quite yet,

I've had to overhaul and redo a few parts of the design in order to support all of the features I'm looking for this language to have. There are many parts finished, but nothing cohesive ready to try yet.

There are 3 core areas that I'm still designing:

• First-class Module/Interface System (allow higher level programming not just low level)
• Dependent Types (Computable Values in Types), e.g. func concat(a Array<$a_len, $T>, b Array<$b_len, $T>) Array<$a_len + $b_len, $T> { ... }
• Async/Effects System (for async and async-like code)

There should be something ready to try here in 6-9 months in a very rough form, but the first Adept 3.0 alpha release will probably be sometime in 2027 or 2028.
