This is needed in JEDI to support boost::stacktrace. The backend "addr2line" typically gets picked up which is slow and can severely slow down processes such as testing. The goal is to make libbacktrace available and use it as the boost::stacktrace backend. libbacktrace is much, much faster than addr2line.
