Can't enable on Fedora

I have gpu-screen-recorder installed from the copr (sudo dnf copr enable brycensranch/gpu-screen-recorder-git) as I couldn't find an alternative with your DNF command given. I've also installed jq, satty slurp etc. I installed the plugin and when I try to enable it it just gives a generic failed to load.

I'm running Fedora with niri & dms. Not sure if there's a good area to find logs to what's going on. Any thoughts?

Try restarting DMS if still doesn't work try reinstalling the latest version.

Alternatively You can download plugin from GitHub manually & place it inside plugin folder & restart DMS then enable it.

It might be due to a qt5 dependency. My arch install has qt6 setup, but i needed to add qt6-5 compat for it to enable properly. (https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/qt6-5compat/)

I think it was looking for Qt5Compat.QtGraphicalEffects if I recall.

…I would assume there’s something similar available in the fedora repos.

I tested on a different arch machine from scratch that does not have qt6-5compat installed.

No issues to report.
