Description
Remove GitLFS due to large data required for this repository and extremely long clone times. Instead replace with functionality that permits installing from an archived, minted source like Zenodo (see a Python example for reference: https://github.com/JGCRI/xanthos/blob/remove-lfs/xanthos/install_supplement.py).
