Request: Ability to configure the keyboard when is not connected (or before

Hi. Thanks for the awesome project. I would like to request the ability to configure a keyboard, even if it is not connected. Maybe beneficial for example when build is not fully done yet, but you would like to configure the "virtual" keyboard before. Or when device is disconnected and used elsewhere for some time. Actually those can be seen as 2 separate issues. Thanks!

Not quite sure if it still works since the more advanced pin finder, but you could select a folder on your system and configure that folder instead of a real controller if you dont have the keyboard yet. But it messes with the pin to matrix mapping so it will likely not be too helpful.

Changing the config when it is not connected or on another system introduces syncing conflicts when the device config changed on the other system
