Direct pins to encoder with push button

Hello,
I'm new to POG because I just created my first PCB macropad.
The 20 main keys are wired in a 4x5 matrix, and in addition I have an encoder (EC11) connected directly to 3 GPIOs (with pull-ups).

In the encoder-section I'm only able to select the 'turning' pins and actions but not a third one.
Is there a workaround to use this directly connected pin of the encoders push button (simultaneously with the matrix)?

Also, are there any plans to support OLEDs in the future? (I've provided some pins on my board)

@franz134, For the EC11 push button, you can simply connect its two leads to two free GPIO pins on your board. Then configure one as a row and the other as a column in the matrix. When you build the coordmap, just press the EC11 button once and it will appear as a regular switch in POG.

Regarding OLED support: I’m also looking into adding it, but there are still several issues to solve. It’s planned for the future, but not ready yet.

Thanks for the advice. I would do so, but my board is already produced and soldered. One pin of the pushbutton is connected to GND (with a copper plane on each side, and desoldering would be a pain), and the other is a pulled-up IO pin.

I see, at the moment POG doesn’t really support mixing a matrix with a direct pull-up switch. You could try modifying the firmware yourself based on KMK’s documentation (and maybe with some help from AI), but I think it would be quite tricky to patch this directly into POG’s firmware.

I had the same request/thought as you, so maybe that's something worth forwarding to KMK software
