Possible performance optimization on ESPHome 2025.12.0

ESPHome 2025.12.0 introduced Low Latency UART Processing, will it help in optimizing performance of this project?

This is used to reduce latency when receiving data. The LG controller currently wakes up every 6 seconds and then checks for incoming messages, sends messages, etc. In theory we could use this feature to respond faster to incoming messages, but the code would be harder to reason about and our communication isn't time-sensitive so I'm not sure it's worth it.

The LG protocol is also very slow (104 bps) so sending/receiving a single 13-byte message takes at least a second anyway.

Maybe interesting to play with though.

#168 (not yet merged) mostly eliminates the latency for this project by removing the every 6 second lag. As JanM321 mentioned, I'm not sure the Low Latency UART Processing really matters in the context of this project, but if you'd like faster responsiveness, #168 should substantially improve things.
