Swing Mode Randomly Changes?

Hello, bit of an odd one, does anyone else find this happens?

Swing mode set to "both" for example, then suddenly at some point this changes to "vertical" or even "off".

Watched on the logging and all I see is:

Co-Pilot says this is the sudden change in swing state from the unit:

"received C8.02.44.10.00.05.07.5A.00.00.00.00.D1"

But this hasn't been changed at all either via the remote or on the ThinQ App.

I’ve also been experiencing some strange behavior over the last 2–3 days. A couple of times, the fan speed changed on its own without any input from me and the vertical position of the louvers also shifted a few times. I don't have any logs for these events.
There is also a spontaneous change in the target temperature: it goes up by 1°C roughly every hour. Judging by the logs, the air conditioner itself is making this temperature adjustment by C8 messages.

In this example 0x19 (24oC) changes in C8 message to 0x1A (25oC).

Now I want to disconnect the ThinQ Wi-Fi module from the air conditioner for testing. I have no other ideas.

Immediately after buying the air conditioner, I installed the LG ThinQ app on my phone and linked it to my account, but I deleted the app quite quickly. The glitches I mentioned occurred without the app installed. I have now reinstalled the app and removed the air conditioner from the account. At first glance, the spontaneous rise in the target temperature has NOT stopped.

The problem only occurs when the sleep timer is on. The ThinQ Wi-Fi module is not the cause.

I think I’ve found the cause. HA sets the target temperature (Tt), to which the AC adds 1°C and reports it back to HA. HA then uses this increased value as the new target temperature for the next cycle. And so the cycle continues. I solved this problem using an automation in HA that resets the original setpoint every 20 minutes.
But I don't know what was happening with the fan speed and the flap positions. Maybe I just imagined it.

Ah yes you are explaining the sleep mode temperature increment of 2 degrees over a 1 hour period which has been implemented on most LG units. I get around this by setting a sleep timer of 1 hour but re-applying sleep in a loop between 31 -> 40 minutes. Which does work a treat.

But yes sleep mode doesnt alter anything else other than the initial temperature ramp.
