Question: How to run indexing incrementally?

I am adding new objects and calling indexObject() but the indexes in portal_catalog are getting updated rather than in solr.

How do I make sure that solr also gets updated?

Is the "Active" checkbox checked in the Solr configuration? Are your Solr server settings correct there?

Do you use object.indexObject()? In contrast, portal_catalog.indexObject(object) only updates the portal_catalog.

By the way, there is a new repository on https://github.com/collective/collective.solr that should be used in the future. This one here will probably not be updated any more.
