Taking a Break

Hello everyone sorry for not answering questions and issues lately, I want to explain what I've been going through this past week, please read if you have the time.

Of course I won't go into details cause this isn't the right place for me to trauma dump but I think an explanation is needed.

So basically a close family member was diagnosed with a difficult illness, of course I want to be with them through all that process, I even started attending church wich is pretty rare for me to do.

I don't like being in this position and I really hate having to do ask for this but please if you can spare some money for all the medical bills I'll be forever grateful if you could sponsor me, Costa Rica has a great healthcare system but it sometimes fails with uncommon illnesses and my family had to go with private doctors.

Some other stuff happened but that's the main problem. Going to church has helped me a little to find some semblance of normality but I still feel really dizzy with everything.

Needless to say I don't feel like recoding, fixing or even thinking about Alpaca at the moment. There's some stuff I did before that I might push to the recode branch eventually though.

Of course I'm not saying I'm going to abandon Alpaca, I'll do some small stuff and maybe check some PRs eventually if I bring myself to turn on the pc, but it will take a couple of months for me to come back to this full time.

So just you guys wait cause when I come back I will make Alpaca the greatest app of all time!!!

As always I want to thank everyone for your support with Alpaca's development, it has been really fun and I hope I can come back to work as soon as possible.

I hope you guys can have some more patience with me and can keep supporting me through this difficult process.

Hey Jeffry,

I am so, so sorry for you and your family having to go through this. It sure hurts to be in a situation like that, and it's more than fine if you pause. Take all the time you need - plus some extra time, because there's no use in rushing to go back to Alpaca. There are thousands of things that are currently more important for you than working on this app.

I wish you and your family member all the best, let's hope they will have the fastest and most painless recovery possible!

Hihi thanks for the donations, I will use the money to pay for all the random stuff I personally need in college like transportation and food.

Of course this means we got enough money to cover the medical expenses by other means so that's one problem out thankfully.

I will still be on break so I can support my family of course. Thanks again for the support!
