Editor unresponsive with delete key

if I try to delete content with the "delete" key in the absence of the showBlocks and codeView buttons, the editor is freezing and not responding.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

• Add a some content in editor
• select and Press DELETE button

works well in

• working in safari and firefox, happening only in chrome browser.
• backspace works properly
