Manifest file is missing or unreadable

Here's the error with installation instruction:
"Manifest file is missing or unreadable":

If I try to install from /src/extention folder, ther is the error

Could not load JavaScript 'js/content-script.js' for content script.

Even if to fix the paths in the manifest, there are another errors

Is it really the working version?

You need to do the following
npm install
npm run build

and then when loading the unpacked extension from chrome, you should choose the "dist" folder, this is where the built app gets created.
