Add ability to change fonts

Add the ability to change the displayed font. It would be nice to have the ability to format the text more precisely by using a fixed width font and use space padding to align columns.

Primarily the main message box window where you would specify your text to be displayed. I would like to be able to format the content in columns by using a fixed width font and padding with spaces to align the columns.

I believe I'm doing everything right, but here is what I found and my input. *InformationBox Designer* - I selected the Courier New, 8.25pt font - I created text in the 'Text' box that contains 7 rows - I click on 'Show' and the window only shows 6 rows - 60 rows displays 50 rows - 70 rows displays 59 rows - 80 rows displays 67 rows (with row 67 cutoff) - 90 rows displays 75 rows I implemented it in my program, and had these results: - 36 lines only displays 32 lines. - 40 lines only displays 35 lines. - 80 lines only displays 71 lines. It would be nice (but not required if it proves to be too difficult), if the InformationBox Designer 'Text' box displayed the text using the selected font. This way, when you compose the text with padded spaces to align columns you can more accurately determine how many spaces are required without having to continually click on the 'Show' button. I also think it would be nice if the 'Text' box was larger (width and height). Thanks for your work on this. It really is a great improvement over MessageBox. Bob Ianson

Hi, thank you for the feedback.
Have you tried the new AutosizeMode named FitToText ?
The default autosize still has basic logic to keep the maximum width of the message box to half of the screen size.
The FitToText parameter gives you more control by not touching the text at all. You are then responsible for ensuring your text fits within a reasonable screen size.
I created it specifically for your use case as I tested the font feature with large fonts and large ascii formatted tables.
Please give it a try and let me know.

Yes, I did use FitToText. The problem seems to occur with smaller fonts. If I increase the font size to 12pt everything works fine. Bob

I extracted the request about the Designer usability improvements into a new feature request.

The latest version should bring improvements to the text rendering. Keep in mind that from a UX perspective, the InfoBox or similar component is not the best suited for large text.
That being said, I was able to get good results with up to 65 lines of ASCII table in Courier New 8.25pt using the FitToText mode.
I got better results for large amount of regular text (10 large paragraphs of Lorem Ipsum) using the default autosize mode.
