Card not updating if kept visible

I have a card put in a dashboard that's always active (on a wall mounted tablet that's always on).

The card should be showing just today's events, so at the change of the day should update itself.

This is not happening, and to make it update I have to enter edit mode, even without changing anything (as soon as I enter edit mode, the preview shows the correct events) and save.

That's a case I honestly didn't think of. I'll look into this
