I posted up a new video on X of the basic user registration and chat process in our new interface. https://x.com/Josh_XT/status/1881534311943541056 You can try it out on our cloud offering https://everything.software |

Hello everyone!
I mentioned on X that I have some things to learn still and have no intentions of doing anything with the coin until I felt like I have some sort of understanding of the expectations of me in the situation that I have found myself in. The support and interest has been overwhelming and more appreciated than I can put into words. If nothing else, I am flattered that my experience has inspired so many people to put faith in my work or even talk about it. I've been saying for years that I am building basement AGI, but I was never really speaking too loud and have truthfully been too busy on that mission to try to get any kind of attention. I just figured "If you build it, they will come", and now here we are 2 years later with a lot of people interested in what I've been working on.
AGiXT's journey to embodiment has been a long one so far, we've had a lot of things to figure out and some other technologies (such as language models) needed to catch up to the demands of AGiXT's in-context learning and dynamic reasoning abilities. Once we achieved a 32K context input window, we were able to teach agents how to do things that the model wouldn't have been trained on, such as how to reason through problems, how to use third party software, how to remember things, and how to learn from content that it wasn't implicitly trained on. There are models today with context windows of over 1 million which enables AGiXT agents to learn how to do just about anything with a little bit of time.
On to my own definition of AGI, because I feel like it is important that I set some expectations too. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is a big mystery term to most people and some people seem to think it means "perfect supreme being", which is not what it is. It is a machine that, like a human, gets better with experience, improves through feedback in real time, can learn to do anything that a human can do, and has the ability to take reasoned actions autonomously. Imagine hiring a new employee and expecting them to outshine your best employee on day 1, it would be a bit ridiculous, right? But after a week or so of the new employee working with the team and getting to understand what is expected of it in its role, the increase in performance becomes noticeable. The expectation of perfection on all things when we can't expect that even out of ourselves is a tall order, but it isn't one that we're afraid of trying to solve.
ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) is a silly term made up to try to illustrate that they're closer to this perfection that people want to see in AI, but it is all the same mission for extremely useful and reliable artificial intelligence. The truth is that teaching niche expertise and setting expectations about what you want clearly will get the highest quality results.
By my definition, AGI has already been "achieved" at a software level over a year ago, but that doesn't mean there is no room for improvement, there is always room to add new abilities and expand the scope of expertise. Consider how many different kinds of screwdrivers there are. The whole AGiXT team has had plans to embody it in various ways that would give it even more utility than it currently has. We're currently working on building it into smart glasses (which will also be open source) and have plans to build it into a humanoid robot. The smart glasses will enable you to take your agents on the go with you to help you complete your tasks even while you're away from your computer. We're still in planning stages with the humanoid robot and we are quickly moving towards putting our hands on the hardware of existing open source robotics platforms to see what AGiXT can do with some arms and legs.
People have asked me a lot about what some of AGiXT's capabilities are, so I wanted to share a page from our documentation that has real world examples of how it can be used, The Extensions and Commands documentation can be found by clicking here.. We also have examples of how to create your own expert agents. I hope this helps to illustrate some of the things that AGiXT can do and how it can be used to help you with your tasks. The capabilities grow every day and each time they do, it is still open source and available for everyone.
On the note of crypto integrations, our team is working to build Solana and other crypto tools in as extensions to AGiXT. There is a bit of a learning curve that we're working through, but we're excited to give back to the community for the support.
Invitations are being manually paused and unpaused by our team as we have eyes on the discord server to ensure that it stays a safe environment for our open source community. We have had some issues with people trying to use the server to scam people and we are working to prevent that from happening. Feel free to try to join the server, but if you are unable to, please be patient with us as we work to ensure that the server is safe for everyone. We are a small team of software engineers and do not have a dedicated team of moderators to deal with the influx of users, but are doing our best to bring new people into our community while delivering great new updates to AGiXT.
On the note of the dev supply, 43% is locked up vested and I am holding 7% in my wallet currently, which I intend to burn most of now that I am learning more about this, I also intend to burn much of what I receive biweekly and hold what isn't burned to potentially use some of as AGiXT hackathon prizes. My reputation is more important to me than any amount of money and I see this as an opportunity to connect AGiXT to new users and enable them to do more with AI, not as any way to get rich. AGiXT is open source with an MIT license and has been for 2 years, it has never been about the money, and we've never really had much of it anyway. We also hope to see our open source contributors grow as we gain more attention towards AGiXT. We are working to build a community around AGiXT and are excited to see what people will build with it.
Our team is working hard to bring a cloud hosted version of AGiXT to the public so that we can lower the bar to entry. AGiXT has always been local first because we believe that you should own your data and your AI, but we also want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to use AGiXT. We plan to release a cloud hosted version by the end of this week and are excited to see what people will build with it. For those of you who are interested in running AGiXT locally, see our Quick start guide to get started. We will also have an updated video showcasing our new user interface this week.
We'll get a more detailed road map together for public release soon, but you can expect to continue to see daily updates to AGiXT just as we have been providing for 2 years already.
To join in on the development of AGiXT, feel free to open a pull request with any new useful extensions or improvements to the code base!
If anyone is interested in donating directly to the project, our Solana wallet address is
EmMgRcfTuyoX577SmRhjFVkWRFRvTwFfiY8wf5preXC1
. Things we will use donations for would be GPUs, robots, and other hardware to integrate AGiXT with. The ONLY AGiXT Token
Thank you all for the support!
