My recommendation would have been to choose a name that combines the acronym with prefix/suffix word that provides context. Something like |

Thank you, @goerz! I would like to keep the package name unchanged because the theory (QG-YBJ+) that underpins this model is quite popular among physical oceanographers, especially among those who have studied wave-mean flow interaction. I believe it will be easily recognizable to them. |
