Release Notes

This initial release of ElectronicStructureModels.jl provides a foundational framework for electronic-structure models with a focus on applications in X-ray Thomson Scattering (XRTS).

Highlights

• Implementations of the dynamic structure factor (DSF) for the uniform electron gas, including the finite-temperature Lindhard function within RPA.
• Basic abstractions for ideal and interacting electron systems.
• A clean API for evaluating response functions at arbitrary ((\omega, q)).
• An extensible design intended for adding new electronic-structure models and approximations.

This release establishes the core interfaces and computational machinery on which future model extensions will build.

This release provides a faster and more stable implementation of the Lindhard function. Furthermore, the zero temperature mode is now an approximation and the temperature modes are removed.
