Feature request: Image pasting

This feature was already requested here: #795 (comment), but I think it deserves a separate issue. Image pasting would be great to have in this keyboard since most other keyboards support it as well.

I’d also like to request clipboard management, that would be another great addition.

I can't reproduce the issue. On my device, I can't paste an image into WhatsApp or other apps with any keyboard.

Most Android keyboards already support this feature, though.

① v1.31 already has Clipboard Manager—You may have to go into Settings > Add keys to keyboard, to be able to invoke it.
② UK has cut, copy, paste keys. App should respond by using OS services to gain access to the device's clipboard.
③ Images…and what other media? I want UK to remain "lightweight."

But the README says:

I mean, the layout and idea are great, but it still lacks features and capabilities for everyday use.

Though a bit salesy, "Now it's perfect for everyday use." strikes me as a true statement. Doesn't mean it will take the place of other apps.

That's the point. I think adding image pasting to the keyboard could really improve the user experience. Right now, I have to switch to another keyboard just to paste an image. Supporting it directly would make everything smoother and more consistent. There’s already a request for this feature, so we know users want it.

i quadruple this request .. for me it is IMPERATIVE TO SUPPORT PICTURES IN THE COPY PASTE BUFFER PLUS A DEEPER 'INVENTORY' OF COPIED ITEMS all of which are persistent across all applications .. I AM A GENERIC END USER .. THIS IS THE ONLY REALLY USABLE KEYBOARD I HAVE FOUND AFTER TRYING ALL .. when i copy a pic i can paste it using ctrl-v BUT it is not placed in the buffer .. i have a Samsung S25 .. simply import or unify the buffer associated with the Samsung keyboard and call it a day .. use LIFO access and perhaps limit dynamic copied items to some number X after which new items replace the oldest items on the list .. the BEST copy paste buffer i have found for Wdoz is DITTO HandsDown .. maybe incorporte a few of its features

hopefully an easy way to this is to simply link the Samsung keyboard buffer as an option [or link the default buffer for other android phones] with a NEW LINK ICON .. right now there is an icon one can set to access the Unexpected Keyboard buffer by choosing to place this icon on a key .. hopefully one could easily add a SEPARATE, SECOND icon one could pick to add to the Unexpected Keyboard in the same way the current keyboard buffer icon is added now, so as to have instant access to this Samsung buffer [which is actually very good] DIRECTLY from the Unexpected Keyboard .. right now when I am using the Unexpected Keyboard and i copy ANYTHING from ANY application, it is AUTOMATICALLY added to this default Samsung copy buffer and is available via this Samsung buffer when the Samsung keyboard is active .. BUT not necessarily so from the Unexpected Keyboard buffer .. so if I switch from the Unexpected Keyboard to the Samsung keyboard, the Samsung buffer becomes available, and I can paste ANYTHING I have copied including pics, BUT THEN I have to switch back to the Unexpected Keyboard .. if i could access this Samsung buffer directly from the Unexpected Keyboard via a NEW LINK this would be much much more convenient and faster .. something tells me this would not be too difficult to do! Hopefully we will see this in an upgrade in the near future!!
