Hi @ohault, thank you for your interest to this project.
I have never tried myself with Pico2, but I think answer is yes if you install official firmware and python files.

The integrated firmware build would not work as-is. You will need to edit micropython/firmware_builder.sh and Dockerfile to specify board type. You need to edit more files to deal with RP2350B IC.

Hello @K4zuki, thank I will test this method with a Pico2 starting with an official firmware and the three python files.
Once the Pico2 is programmed to become a SCPI device, what is the easiest way to check if it is working from a laptop computer (Windows 10) ?

Hi @ohault,
Thonny IDE is the easiest way for windows.

People typically use Thonny to play with micropython on Pico/2. So just install the IDE and open python files, and copy them into the target pico2.
Then switch REPL to Pico2 via COM port, and type CTRL+D to perform a soft reset.
It will be like image below (there is mac-windows difference but principle is the same).

How can I use the my RaspberryPiPico SCPI to display like with an oscilloscope on ADC output trace?
Do you know other tools to use with SCPI devices?
