Possibility for the application to be notified when GammaRay is attached

Although there are valid ways to see whether GammaRay is attached or not at a specific time, there seems no such signal that the application could connect to and be notified as soon as GammaRay is attached.

One workaround for this is listening to window title change (since GammaRay adjusts the title) and check if the new title includes "GammaRay", but that is really fragile.

Is the use case protecting your app against reverse engineering ? Or something else

No, not for reverse engineering. We have an optimization that makes using the Quick Scenes view quite cumbersome to use, and we would like to disable that optimization when GammaRay is attached for that reason.
