Help with specific scenario

We want to use ESMira for the following scenario: As part of the study, teachers will be given the opportunity to reflect on a specific teaching situation after completing certain lesson units that share a defined characteristic (event-based).
To this end, a three-part questionnaire will be implemented.

The first part will consist of a single yes/no question, which will initially determine whether the lesson unit is relevant to the study.
If this question is answered with “No”, the other two-parts are not available. However, participants should remain part of the study and retain their individual access code. This will allow them to access the study again at a later date, but starts with the single yes/no question.

If the introductory question is answered with “Yes,” a second part of the questionnaire should be unlocked. This part should initially consist exclusively of rating scales. This section should be completed as soon as possible after the conclusion of the corresponding lesson to capture the participants’ immediate perceptions and assessments of the situation.
In addition, teachers should be given the opportunity to answer two open-ended reflection questions on the same day, as the third part of the questionnaire. They should be able to respond either by entering free-form text or, alternatively, via an audio recording. The open-ended questions should only be available on the day of the respective lesson, so that responses at a later date are not possible. This means that, regardless of whether the questions were answered or not, participants will not be able to continue working on the open-ended questionnaire on a later day. Their personal access code should remain valid, allowing them to participate again on subsequent days. Each new questionnaire session should begin again with the initial yes/no question.

Is there a way to configure the study so that participants' responses are saved and submitted at the end of the day, regardless of whether they have completed or submitted the questionnaires, so that participants can remain in the study using their access code and restart on another day with the yes/no question?

Hi there.

I am not quite sure about that question, it sounds a bit like there might be a bit of a misunderstanding regarding how the app works. Responses are usually not submitted at the end of the day, but most of the time right away (or after a retry, as discussed in your other question: #100). Also, unless participants leave the study on their own, they should remain in the study. There is an auto-quit feature if the filters are set in a way that no questionnaire will ever become active again, e.g., if all questionnaires are set to expire after a certain number of days, but the way you describe your study setup that should not be relevant here. So yes, you can either set the yes/no questionnaire to be always accessible (by not restricting it with a filter), or to be filled out once per notification and have a notification once per day.

Now, regarding your general concept, I want to comment that it is possible, using script filters, but that these are a bit of an advanced feature, so might require a bit of coding knowledge, more setup and testing to get right.
