Spotube wont play songs on iOS

A few days ago I strated to search for a music player to replace yt and sptfy on an old iPhone 6s. Among all the apps I tried, this one seems promising but it only scraps data. It wont play any songs.

I installed it on my android and the workaround that worked for me is to set the YouTube engine to use newpipe but iOS is unable to use it.

The other workaround for iOS is using the Jiosaavn audio plugin but this wont play the actual songs ,only “alternatives” based on the title (most of the songs might be skipped).

Any of you is able to use it on iOS? Is there a workaround to play music instead of using Jiosaavn audio plugin?

workaround found on reddit that worked for me is to use the flac plugin and use flac as music format for streaming and download. However, i think that might be an issue to not be able to use Youtube audio plugin nor newpipe

I swear this was not on the app before.

Checking repos, turns out this option is NEW. So far is working like a charm. Lets hope it continues in that way!!

Is there a solution to this problem? I can't listen to songs on iOS until today.
