I'll probably turn this into a PR at some point, just don't have the motivation atm.
The RP-1 impactor contracts have notoriously been unreliable at times, and I've heard it's even worse with Sol. As part of my work for CBM, I wrote a coroutine (other triggers) that always triggers when an impact is detected. If rewritten a bit to fit RP-1, it could be a good replacement. (current code here for future reference)
