Description

Army ideas (changes):

  1. Army - Jansa:
  • +5% Max Planning from "Improved Communications" focus (+15% total once reforms are complete).
  • +5% Coordination from "Modern Auftragstatik" focus.
  1. Army - Hickmann:
  • +5% Division Recovery Rate from "Modern Auftragstatik" focus (+10% total once reforms are complete).
  1. Army - Von Hubicki:
  • -5% Production Cost for Mechanised and Armour from "Mechanised Cavalry" focus.
  • +10% Division Organisation from "Modern Auftragstatik" focus (instead of +5%).
  1. Army - All:
  • Replace all "Division Attack / Defense on Core Territorry" with "Division Attack / Defense".

Air Ideas (mostly new):

  1. Air - Starting:
  • +5% Air Mission Efficiency and -5% Aircraft Production Cost (instead of +5% Air Defense).
  • Also changed icon.
  1. Air - Uzelac:
  • +10% Air Support Mission Efficiency and +5% Ground Support (“Uzelac’s Ground Support” focus).
  • +15% Ground Support (total value) +5% Agility (“Light Bomber Trials” focus).
  1. Air - Lohr:
  • +5% Strategic Bombing, +5% Air Range (“Lohr’s Offensive Air Plan” focus).
  • +10% Strategic Bombing (total value), +15% Air Range (total value), +10% Air Defense (“Heavy Bomber Trials” focus).
  1. Fight School:
  • +0.05 Air Experience and -10% Air Doctrine Cost (“k.u.k. Flugschule” focus).

Navy ideas (new):

  1. Flexible Navy:
  • -10% Submarine Production Cost, +15% Submarine Raiding Efficiency, +5% Torpedo Hit Chance and +10% Submarine Speed while Retreating (“Flexible Warfare” focus).
  • -10% Screens Production Cost, +10% Escort Efficiency, +10% Screening Efficiency, +5% Naval Speed and +15% Fleet Coordination (“Austrian Small Ship Plan” focus).
  • EDIT: added +5% Naval Speed and changed Submarine Raiding Efficiency to +15%. Still feeling like this might be a bit underpowered in comparison to general naval stat bonuses from "Large Navy" though.
  1. Large Navy:
  • -10% Capital Ship Production Cost, +10% Capital Ship Heavy Attack, +10% Shore Bombardment, +5% Positioning (“Large Navy Plan” focus)
  • -15% Capital Ship Production Cost (total value), +15% Capital Ship Heavy Attack (total value), +20% Shore Bombardment (total value), +10% Capital Ship Armour, +5% Naval Damage, +5% Naval Defense and +5% Naval Critical Hit Chance (“Austrian Capital Ship Plan” focus)

Reasoning

For why this is a suggestioin at all, Austria is a Major, but has mediocre Land Army ideas, negligible Air idea and doesn't have Navy ideas.

For specific changes:

  1. Army - Jansa:
  • Improvement of what idea already does.
  • Modifier that Grand Battleplan doctrine adds.
  1. Army - Hickmann:
  • Modifier that Superior Firepower doctrine adds.
  1. Army - Von Hubicki:
  • Mostly because I was adding Production Cost modifiers to other new ideas and felt that it would make sense to add it here too, plus Artillery also gets discounts in Hickmann ideas.
  • Modifier that Mobile Infantry sub-doctrine adds (and Mobile Infantry Doctrine used to add).
  1. Army - All:
  • I'm not sure what Core modifiers were doing there to begin with tbh, so just replaced them with uncoditional Attack/ Defense.

Air Ideas:

  1. Air - Starting:
  • I wasn't sure what to lean to decided to go for generalist bonuses with further specialisations down the line.
  1. Air - Uzelac:
  • Air Support Mission Efficiency and Ground Support are self-explanatiry, Agility for all and not just CAS-specific was a thought a la "adapting Agility in Light Bombers to the entire Airforce".
  1. Air - Lohr:
  • Strategic Bombing and Air Range are self-explanatiry, Air Defense for all for the same reason as Agility is given to all in Uzelac ides.
  1. Fight School:
  • Mostly I added this because Navy seemed to have too many modifiers (but it just has more things to tweak than Air) and because I was messing with Dominican ideas some of which had similar effects. So this one is kind of optional.

Navy ideas:

  1. Flexible Navy:
  • Production Costs are self-explanatory and Submarine modifiers are borrowed from some Submarines sub-doctines.
  • Screen bonuses are borrowed from some Screens sub-doctines.
  • Naval Speed and Fleet Coordination since it helps the entire fleet and in this case I didn't what to give excessive equipment-specific bonuses.
  1. Large Navy:
  • Production Cost is self-explanatory, other Capital Ship modifiers and Shore Bombardment are from focus descriptions (which are basically just "more and guns and bigger guns and that applies to armor too").
  • Positioning largely due to "Efficient Communication" navy spirit adding it, and the spirit is locked behind either "Fleet in Being" doctrine or "Line of Battle" sub-doctrine.
  • Naval Damage / Defense and Naval Critical Hit Chance are, again, improvements to Capital Ships rubbing of on the rest of the Navy.
  • As I'm writing it, I've noticed that “Large Navy Plan” focus adds a research bonus for Cruisers, might as well replace it with Naval Artillery (next focus adds Battleship anyway) (added it in the file).
