Cannot configure OIDC due to form validation on authority / provider URL

What happened?

When filling out the OIDC configuration, I was unable to set the Provider/Authority as I get a form validation error:

The provided uri is invalid

The domain is internally facing (like https://.xyz.lan)

What did you expect?

No form validation error.

Running version: v0.8.8.3

The domain is internal with an internal CA with the certificates installed correctly on all devices, and I have used this internal idm setup with many services in this fashion.

Please set your log level to debug and share the exception that makes the authority invalid.

This error pops up when the backend fails to validate that the issuer in the discovery document matches.
