Hello,

I have around 250 customers who have installed the Karing app on their iOS and Android devices. The problem I’ve noticed, which is shared among them, is that if they lock their phone and then unlock it, the VPN stops working—meaning the internet becomes completely inaccessible. They have to manually turn it off and on again to get it working. I’ve tested this myself, and it’s indeed an issue—a significant one—and all of them are complaining about it.

Secondly, when I use configurations that include a domain in the server part, I need to connect and disconnect once, then connect again for it to work. However, if I use an IP address instead of a domain, it works on the first connection.

Please provide the node protocol type used when the problem occurred; from the information you provided, it may be that there is a problem with DNS resolution after the device wakes up.You can try to modify the DNS server to see if the problem still exists.

It’s surely a DNS problem.

I use a Hysteria 2 config and a Vless TCP (simple as that) config. When I unlock my phone and want to use the config, I have to follow this routine: open the app, connect the config, disconnect the config, then connect the config again—then it works. This happens no matter which config I use.

I’ve also tried setting the DNS to 1.1.1.1, and there’s result , same as top .

Additionally, I tested my config on other apps like Streisand and V2Box, and I don’t encounter this issue there.
All my clients are experiencing this problem on karing too ( android and IOS ).

Another problem I’ve noticed recently is with the Windows app. The app works fine, but when I switch tabs to the Karing app screen, Karing automatically stops the connection and reconnects. This only happens after some time passes and I bring the Karing app back into focus. This disconnect-and-reconnect issue is a serious problem for gamers on PC.

The issue involved manual connect and disconnect problems that I discovered. It happened because I had set up three inbound connections—two of them were fake, created to print out user information. The system automatically connected to them or kept pinging them, which caused a reconnection loop. As a result, users had to restart their connection multiple times before it finally connected to the main configuration. To fix this, I removed the extra inbound connections, and for now, the problem is solved.

However, I’ve noticed another issue with Xiaomi phones. When users install the app and try to start the connection, the app crashes. If we change the routing setting from 'rule' to 'global' and then connect, the app no longer crashes and works properly."

it happened on more that 10 phones by now , it happened on older version and latest version
