What happened?

In Kilo Code, adding files or folders via drag and drop is supported, but not visible like screenshot below:

When a user attempts to do so, the application does not provide any feedback or message to indicate that this feature is not available. This lack of communication could lead users to believe that Kilo Code is not functioning properly. Although users can add files or folders by typing the @ shortcut followed by the file name/folder, implementing drag and drop functionality would offer a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, aligning with standard practices in other tools.

The proposed enhancement should include drag and drop support, similar to the example illustrated here:

Currently drag and drop is supported by holding shift. We want to change this to work without shift and perhaps update the placeholder to indicate that drag n drop is actually possible

Steps to reproduce

  1. Drag and drop any file
  2. See that no file was added to the context
  3. Use @ to add files manually
