How can I have access to my "<" and ">" symbols if my keyboard is configured as AZERTY in my OS ?

Context

I'm running Ubuntu and my O.S is configured to use an AZERTY layout for my keyboard.

I'm using the Advantage 360 pro for a while now and I'm very happy with it.
There is only one thing I can't achieve to get, my < and > keys.

On an AZERTY keyboard there is a special key that I'd like to mimic. A key that gets you a < when pressed, and a > when combined with Shift.

I'm feeling kind of stupid, but I can't figure out what configuration / keycode I should use to make my keyboard and O.S finally display a < or a > 🤦

When I press < on my laptop internal keyboard, xev shows me that the keycode keycode 94 (keysym 0x3c, less) should be sent to get this symbol.

I'm kinda confuse between the AZERTY configuration in the OS and the configuration I should set in the zmk configuration.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate 🙏

Maybe a stupid question, but ... how could you know this was this keycode I should use ? What's the logic to find this keycode given my AZERTY O.S configuration ?
