json-c compile options (0.12.0)

Hi,

I've been building 0.12.0 and have noticed that json-c uses the standard "gnu99" compiling, as opposed to "c99" for the rest of the system.

Would it be possible for json-c to also use "c99" as this is going to causes portability issues when we move this between platforms.
